2.1 Merchant Pre-requisites
This section outlines the hardware, software, and general requirements necessary for successful SDK integration.
2.2 Hardware Pre-requisites
The following hardware specifications are recommended for Android SDK development and integration:
Network and Connectivity Requirements:
- Merchants may have a variety of arrangements for hosting their applications and systems, with relevant security mandates for internet access controls and checks.
- This may include utilization of a Proxy Server which presents informed challenges.
- It is recommended that the merchant use a public IP address during the integration testing for transaction processing to the Payment Gateway.
- The merchant should ensure the Payment Gateway domain and IP address are enabled at the firewall for both incoming and outgoing request/response traffic.
Development Machine Specifications:

2.3 Software Pre-requisites
The merchant may use combinations of OS, development tools, and application servers while setting up and operating the application. Standard software options are listed below for reference.

- Install JDK 11 or JDK 17 (Android Studio works best with these versions)

- Official Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for Android development
- Includes Gradle build system, Android Emulator, and SDK Manager

- Installed via Android Studio SDK Manager
- Includes tools such as Android Debug Bridge (adb)
- Minimum API level: Android 5.0 (API 21)
- Target API level: Latest stable Android version
2.4 General Pre-requisites
The following general requirements must be fulfilled before integration:
